Brief Description

The Mobile Computing Lab is seeking for skillful, hard working and creative candidates with good credentials to join our dynamic international team as Ph.D. or Masters Students within the area of wireless sensor networks or related fields.

Two (2) Graduate Research Scholarship Positions at the Mobile Computing Lab, Chosun University, Gwangju, Republic of Korea (South Korea)

Expected commencement date: March 2011

Profile of Ideal Candidates

• For Ph.D. applicants: Good M.S., preferably in Computer/Communications Engineering or related areas (good B.S. for those applying for the M.S. or integrated M.S.-Ph.D. program)
• Good background in wireless networks
• Good programming skills
• Good English language skills- written and oral
• Good ability to cooperate with others in a multicultural environment
• Good ability for highly motivated independent research

1. Qualifications
   • Graduated or is going to graduate from a bachelor`s or master`s program in a foreign country (Dept. of Electronic Eng., Computer Science Eng., Information and Communication Eng., and IT related Eng.)
   • Must have IBT score of 80 (CBT 210 or PBT 550) or higher.
   • Must have superior CGPA

Circuit/ASIC design, algorithm development and processor application for the bio-medical area

5. Scholarship
   • Financial support for tuition and registration fees, except non-refundable application fee of 100,000 KRW(approximately $90).
   • Financial support for the living expenses
6. Housing

Every admitted student may live in university housing (dormitory).
