Brief Description

Green Templeton College – or GTC – is Oxford`s newest graduate college, founded in 2008 following the historic merger of Green College and Templeton College, and aims to lead the way in graduate education at Oxford by providing an environment specifically geared to the needs and interests of postgraduate students.

GTC has a distinctive academic profile, specialising in subjects relating to human welfare and social, economic and environmental well-being in the 21st century, including medical sciences, management, and a broad range of social sciences, including education, environmental sciences and social policy.

GTC-Medical Sciences Doctoral Scholarship

Deadline: Friday 6 January 2012 (University Application Deadline 2)

Value: Stipend at the Research Council recommended rate, for up to 3 years

Restrictions: EU students beginning a Doctoral programme in the Medical Sciences Division in October 2012, and in receipt of a fees-only MRC or BBSRC award

GTC is pleased to be able to offer a top-up award for an EU student who has been awarded an MRC or BBSRC Studentship for study in the Medical Sciences Division beginning in October 2012.

No separate application is required; eligible candidates will be considered automatically. The College`s selection criteria will include, in addition to academic excellence, potential contribution to college life.
