Brief Description
Computer and Systems Science carry out education and research within the fields of Information Security and Long-term Digital Preservation. The research in Information Security comprise studies and development of solutions of IS/IT security from a number of perspectives such as the technical, the social and the management perspectives. There is a special focus on organizational processes and strategies, architecture and models as well as information classification. The research is often carried out in cooperation with both technological and business oriented disciplines.
We are approximately 15 staff in Computer and Systems Science who cooperates closely both within the discipline and with others. We give priority to openness, engagement and ability in projects that challenge curiosity and are relevant for society and industry.
Qualifications
A one-year MSc in Computer and Systems Science/Systems Science/Computer Science or equivalent degree is a prerequisite for acceptance as a PhD-student in Computer and Systems Science. Previous knowledge/experience within Information Security is qualifying, as are practical experiences of teaching, systems development projects, programming projects and EU-projects.
It is important that the applicant is fluent in writing and speaking English and has good abilities to work in groups. Knowledge of Swedish is an advantage.
